Places to eat

With its agreeable climate to most and vicinity to the ocean, the Greater Seattle Area overflows with bustling neighborhoods, fresh seafood, delivery of virtually anything within the hour (thanks Amazon), fine wine and cheeses. From elegant feasting to quick-casual, Seattle eateries make the foremost of this rich bounty. Start your day off with breakfast from Portage Bay Cafe, then get a quick snack while perusing through Pikes Place Market. Top your day off with a nice dinner on the west side from Salty’s on Alki Beach.

Parks and recreation

Seattle is full of activities! Seattle boasts 6,414 acres of parks spread out over 485 unique parks. From saltwater to freshwater Seattle offers beaches, paved walkways for walking, biking, roller skating (yes people still do this), and plenty of greenery for those that want to get away without leaving the city. In addition to the parks, Seattle offers tons of unique things to do seeing that it has to entertain almost 750,000 people! Be sure to check out one of many art galleries that pop up in studios throughout the city.

Great school system

Seattle offers over 100 schools for your children or future children! Fear not, Seattle public schools have been awarded an A- from Niche which compiles and analyzes data from the United States Department of Education. This grade is determined by state test scores, college readiness, SAT/ACT scores, and teacher quality. While Seattle has exactly 106 schools with 54,215 students to teach and send off into the world, maintaining a grade like that seems to be no easy task! Kudos to teaching professionals who help make that possible!
